Ok fellas, I was at the local tractor shop yesterday.Shop is very sm and out of the way not used by many other than local neighbors. There sat a little ford ?, not a nice piece of sheet metal on it.Tires and rims look good.I ask what was its problem. They say they have been triing to sell it all summer for a gent that has spent weekends in the area for many yrs but now is to old to get around. This thing starts and purrs like a hired girl.No pto shaft but 3pt. Ask what the price was, they say $1000. I am thinking $700 may buy it. I am not looking to use this to farm 100s of acres. Just use the 3pt to dig the garden, and want the wife to have something to drive on a tractor ride. One of my problems is I dont know fords that well. What am I looking for as a weekness or a strength. Sorry I cant give a model.I couldnt find anything to tell me.It is painted red but Im not so sure that wasnt done with a rattle can from the dollar store because it was there.Anything you folks can pass on to me would be greatly appreciated. I dont have the money to throw away but as an investment it would be better than my 401k. Thank you.
