Power in Wichita KS is a bargain and I appreciate the fact it is reliable too. When I flip the switch the lights come on - never fails. My electric and natural gas bills are both averaged over the year and paid by the month - but electricity had dropped from $104 a month last year to $85 now. My natural gas (furnace and hot water for two adults and two high school boys) runs $84 now - up from 79 last year. Both still bargains as far as I can tell and I appreciate them every day.
Power company burns some coal, some natural gas, and has a nice hot nuke about 80 or 100 miles east of me. I am truly thankful for that nuke.
