Because its not socialism. Now the evil empire has socialism for corporations, banks, whatever. Then you think its socialism that old folks get social security.

Now I am no expert on religious anything. However I read somewhere that the tithe the priests asked for,the 10%,was to go to the old,the widows the sick, and the orphans of the society, and to the church. What do you think you should do with all these old, sick, widows and orphans, and especially maimed citizens from wars, car wrecks, industrial accidents?I wonder if there were people complaining about socialism then?Probably were.If 10% really went to the needy and not the crooks it probably would more than cover it most of the time. The socialism is coming from the other side, the crooks are stealing from you,and you dont like social security,or am I wrong?

Now you can read the names of lots of civilizations that existed one or another time, but they are gone from the world now.Know why? They didnt give 10% of their profit to take care of the sick widows and orphans. Now nobody remembers them except for an ancient name in the Bible. There are extremes to everything, and you are on the extreme wrong side.

However if you figure it up,we are taxed more than 50%,our money is devalued, and we are in a depression, just to socialize big business.Thats a long ways from 10% for the poor sick and beat up people in society. We have no responsibility to big money for anything. There is what the problem is,leave the old folks alone, its not their fault.Go after the crooks causing the problem.
