I don't know much about stocks But a freind of mine lost a bunch of money as a stockholder awhile back. His broker said the week before things were doing good, and all of a sudden the money was gone the next. His question was where did it go? After a brief,confusing, discussion niether one understood The broker is still driving his BMW and my freind a Ford.
Another example of ways to recoup money is in place now. They are selling same size packages of cerial, coffee snack food ie. chips they look the same ,but you have to pay attention to the weight per volume and still charging the same price of the original package. like a 1lb of chips are now close to 14oz.
I can't believe the price of oil per barrel could drop as much as it did in the last week.
Maybe the oil companys arn't as guilty of keeping the prices up as much as the people that bid on things in the frenzy as they do. they are the ones that have to sell for profit.
