From the picture, it's clear that you have a B/BN front end. Your seat and mount are after-market, and I'm guessing that the original left-hand seat mount with the serial number plate (that would have the original model stamped on it) is among the missing.
What isn't clear from the picture is what the left side looks like. Is there a cast housing, 30-36" wide. flat on the top, round on the bottom, between the transmission and the final drive? If so, then your tractor most likely started life as the B that it still is. If not, and the left-side final drive is bolted up directly to the tranny, then you likely have a hybrid of one of the types that I described over on the Farmall board. In the absence of the Serial number plate, there is no way to tell from the engine serial number which way it started out.
