Don, you did good- most of those kids will never forget it...and it felt good too, huh? Every 2 months we have church groups bring inner-city kids from DC out to the farm. We teach 'em to ride a bit, pull around on a hay wagon, do a bon fire and cook-out. They ALWAYS seem to love the hayride most. And these little thugs-in-training always lighten up and become kids again after the first hour on the farm... by the end, they all seem like pretty good kids. it's all environment, and theirs is apparently pretty bad.
Our farms are a stewardship, and these outtings always seem to be a confirmation as to why God gave 'em to us! Good Work!
