A lie is an overt act, i.e. the person doing it knows he or she is misrepresenting the truth. I assume you believe someone is guilty of that here?
Telling someone something you believe to be true, but being wrong, is NOT lying. Obviously the press has a different connotation for the word.

If you are really upset because you believe someone has lied directly to you - on this forum- and it has somehow altered your life - complain to Kim. Why make generic statements about it in a tractor forum?
Now, if you know of someone using deceit on this forum to rip people off - then maybe Kim needs to inform the forum community - after you fill her in on the subject.
