We now know what distillate is, thanks fellows. But I hear the term TVO from the guys across the pond. Is the same stinky stuff or something different? I remember my first experience with an old switchable Farmall. Uncle Bill started it up and I (at about eight years old) was watching closely with great interest. Then after it warmed up a little, he switched it over. The engine sound changed, old black smoke started pouring out of it and I ran. (Scared me) Recently a friend asked me to go with him to look at a generator system. It was a monsterous looking thing with (I think) a TD-15 International engine on it. The owner started it up. I was back in behind it looking it over real close and he switched it over. Sparks and rust and cinders started flying and at 58 years old, I ran again.
