I agree with what you've said other than your bias for the Repugs, I think they did more/less than just sat by. Weren't the repugs in charge for the last 20-30 years? I asked when somebody says "You shouldn't talk if you didn't do anything.", and I've did the same as you and nobody has anything to say other than running their mouth.
