The problem I am having is that there is no power steering when moving slowly or setting still, actually it is worse than having not ps. I have read in another thread that this is typical for the Char Lynn units, is this correct? It does have a dedicated saginaw pump and from what I was told by a previous mechanic, the pump is good, although I haven't checked the pressure myself yet. Is there any fix to a torque generator? I thought I'd get some other opinions on these units before I spent too much time or money determining the problem with this one.
