Well it like this.....If it is stupid and works then it aint stupid. But I have to say that if you have done or do the following things then you might be a redneck:
---fill your windshield washer fluid resv with beer and have a tube going into the car so you can drink while you drive. (I dont do this)
---you fire guns in your house.
---you let the grass grow up to your knees then cut it with a BIG tractor with brush hog. (around the house)
---For gophers and moles you just pour gasoline down the hole and light it up. (kinda like Bill Murray)
---You hunt deer from your combine or tractor and you always have a rifle handy for the opportunity. (A coworker of mine has done this) He is a big time good-ole boy.
---Your idea of foreplay with the wife is to say "Okay spread em"
Practical things are doing stuff like making your own implements, (wife says so) making tools and tooling at work, not redneckish at all. I made my own wheel barrow a long time ago and the wife says "oh thats redneckish" The wheelbarrow held up for 10 years.
