I'm trying to get as many opinions on this as I can. Just late last week my 94 GMC sierra didn't want to start, it has always started and rang good. When I tried to start it, it fired and ran for a second after that, then died.
So I tried again nothng, I hit the gas and it fired right up. Now It does that when is cold. Wont start, give it a hair of gas fires up and runs god but idels rough, shake the truck. Take it out on the road runs perfect. Now when its cold or has been siting for a little bit wont start unless giving it a little gas.
So I have asked several people about this and the general asumption is the fuel pump. It runs perfect at more than an idle. So what do you guys think. It just dont wana start. Not a single proble running it on the road.
I want to MAKE sure it is the pump if that is it before I drop the tank. I am tractor inclined, but my dad can help me with this. It has 93.000 miles on it. What do you think
