Here in wv, Where the snow gets pretty thick and deep and mixture of wet and dry snows all togather at once,We use a Ford 2600 Diesel with ag tires and street Chains, and a 6ft Blade, Works verywell,Like your's our 8-n wont do much in the way of snow removial ours has the standard 4 speedTranny That has the Rotten break neck high speed reverse lol, Thats just an exampel of what we use,we have farliy steep places in the drive way up to the houses,And down to the one pasture feild we take the tractor because it goes better than the ford 4 w drive pickup , Now of course a manual tranny in the pickup would be nice atuos and snow i dont care for they alwasy change gears at the wrong time lol and break the wheels loose and starst ya on a spinn trip
