I was getting ready to finish mowing my upper field yesterday when my buddy stopped me and said i was losing oil. Took a look and sure enough it was pouring out of the PTO shaft. Well the bearing felt good and the seal was pushed out so i went back to the shop (my lawn) and took it down to see what was gone. Turn out to be the outer bearing race was broken and it pushed the seal out. Now I have looked at the book and asked the local dealer for help but all can see is that I have to split the tractor to get the shaft out for repair. Kubota L-285. The factory manual is junk on tis one. Walt
