While that may be true, just how do you say that, and just let ours fall, and justify it?Either you fight to keep this one floating every day,or you dont deserve to live in it.The past is the past, and we dont know or even understand the future.I dont think the alternative of anarchy,or a dark age of times in the past will compare to the downfall of America. We were the best that ever was,and it will be a sad day for freedom if we do fall. The basis of our civilization, the Magna Carta is way older than 200 years old.Lots of people lived in a bad situation,slavery,40 years old was an elderly person for thousands of years. You dont want to go very far backwards or it will be unimaginable compared to life now, everywhere in the world.Since crooks like the way it is for the most part,I doubt the whole world ever gets so bad again, but this time we can certainly ruin the world to where its not fit for anything that we know of can live on it.Thats a far cry from any time in the past, even 100 years ago.You dont want to live in a world that is that dumb,no matter how hard evil tries to make it dumber.
This is at the very least,a unique time, and has the potential for great things to happen, not negative ones.No time anybody ever heard of on this planet has had such good times, and sadly such poverty as well.
Its kind of unfair to dismiss us,and our country, and way of life with an answer like yours, even if its true, which its not. There comes a time when you just have to stop believing the propaganda and try and see that things get better. If you dont try,and your kids are in a country thats worse than communist, who do you blame for it.Ultimately you look in the mirror and see who it is that has the opportunity to make a different outcome from the past.Unless you have some crystal ball that tells you all this, and its futile, and we are doomed, your only choice is to fight every day to keep it from happening like that so your kids have a better life than you.Anything less than that is just a lie.
