Is anybody out there using waste oil in a waste oil heater? Or is anyone using waste oil in diesel fuel? I dont think I would use waste oil in my new JD2305 tractor but......If the oil was filtered and I know that there is zero condensation in it a 90/10 mix may not be a bad way to go. Would the oxidation in the used oil hurt the diesel injection pump? Clog filters and injectors? Does the diesel fuel and oil have to be mixed up real good? If anyone has input on this subject and I am sure that some of you will then rifle off your comments. I generate about 5 gallons of waste oil a year (not much) but I know of guys that generate many gallons a year and store it in their garages until they take it to the waste oil change places, who burn the oil in a heater.
