If you read my post from 2 or 3 days ago. On venting ! You know I hit a deer and my car is kind of dead now. So contacted a rental car dealer that the insurance company said to contact. They told me they had to bring one in from another place Friday and they would deliver it to me at my home.
Well Friday evening went and no car and no phone call. Then Saturday morning we tried to contact said company of Enterprise I think that is how it is said. But found out that office was close on Saturdays and no one around!!!! Called insurance company and they were upset over deal and said they will report this guy... lots of good that did me!
So they gave me another company that was 50 miles north of me. They did not have a car there that fit the budget of $25.00 a day nor any other car to rent out either. Plus they closed a noon time and here it was 10 am and no car for us to even get there anyway! Shesssssssssss So now the talk is Monday they can get me one. But I may have to go get it 50 miles one way! Plus the insurance adjuster is coming Monday to see car and talk to me on it. Um ummm ummmm
It got worst! Lots of rain came in with big winds of 30 to 45 mph blowing. Was part of that storm that hit Missouri yesterday and killed several people as seen on news.
So what happens... we lose our lights! House got cold from wind and rain blowing so dam hard. Had to go out in it and start the furnace of wood and then slice into fan wires so my generator would give power to the fan and heat the house.
In middle of night trying to talk to Electric Company who informs me that it's out all over the area! Shessssssssss lol lol got to laugh now. What else can I do?
So had to pull of refrigerator and Freezer and get some power to them to say the food.
Well power is now on and here I am venting. What he heck else can go wrong!
Hope you and your family are having a much better day.

Today's Featured Article - The Nuts and Bolts of Fasteners - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and ... [Read Article]
