Trucker40 How do you think you are entitled to cheap fuel and nobody else is? How do you think you deserve unlimited amounts of a limited resource? Did you ever think of making a living from something other than trucking? How do you expect to make and live an upper middle class lifestyle on a lower middle class occupation? How do truckers in Europe haul loads with $9.00 a gallon fuel? How is it your economic problems are caused by somebody other than yourself? Have you figured the % spread between a barrel of oil and pump prices then ad tax? The oil companies profit numbers look good because of the billions of gallons sold. You are in business to make money, the oil companies are in business to make money. It's called capitalism. How is it you want the advantages of capitalism and have the government look after your life and needs as in socialist countries? How do you figure you can have it both ways? Ever hear tell of a reality check? Westerners have been living an indulged lifestyle built on the work done by their Parents and Grandparents for the past 40+ years. Isn't it time to now pay for what you've borrowed? The west has gone from the lean, competitive, keen nations of the 1930's,1940's,1950's and 1960's. Now the west is like a fat middle aged has been still trying to ride on the successes of it's youth. Other young keen hard working nations are leaving the US behind as Britain was left behind decades ago. Ever Nation always has and always will go through the same cycle. #1 Starting out without very much and building. #2 Success wealth and comfort. #3 Deterioration, breakdown and loss. Then back around to #1 again. Hazard to guess where the US is and what's your number is? All I hear is Trucker40 whining and wailing he can't have his way and luxuries anymore. He doesn't like change or loosing some of his toys. How do you expect to keep taking more out of your country than what you are putting in?
