Have you thought of asking an uncle, or maybe you can locate one of your dad's old neighbors. I'd bet they can tell you.

I can still remember every tractor that dad ever had (the years are foggy, but the model #'s aren't), and even some that a few of the neighbors had (when the neighbor boys and I got together, we used to argue over whose daddy had the biggest, best, toughest tractor:-)

I guess I'm fortunate that my dad, 75, is still with us. He's like a walking history book of Dodge County. He can still drive by a farm place and tell you who lives there, when they bought it, who they bought it from, and who lived there before that!
