Finding tillage parts for small plows

I've been running around for a week now trying to find new plow shares for some of my smaller rigs - a Deere two-bottom 14" and a Deere three bottom 16". Up to this year - I never had a problem - i.e. it was a no-brainer. Just about every farm store near me had shelves of tillage parts - all aftermarket. And, the local tractor dealers had their own - put out front during springtime.
This year - I got a little surprised. I bent two points on my Deere 412-14 plows (two bottom 14"). I first went down to Tractor Supply Co. and they don't sell them anymore. In frustration, I drove down to the local Deere tractor dealer - nothing. I went back home and looked up my plows at the Deere website - and they have the parts catalog for the plows but NO shares. I got thinking this is kind of weird. I then pulled out several farm supply catalogs that I've often used in the past for plow and cultivator parts. This year - they all dropped plow parts - nothing. I'm wondering what happened? Seems several places gave up selling the stuff - all at the same time.
And - Deere Company? Their claim to fame was the "self cleaning" plow. And now - they don't sell older plow parts?
I finally found a place on-line that said they had them - a Temco dealer. They shipped them out to me - and - they are wrong. I checked the number on them - Star Manufac. # A10004A. They are old and rusty and must have been leftovers sitting in the mud somewhere. Ends up they only fit some Deere 16" three-bolt plows - not my 14".
I realize this isn't very interesting reading - but seems if I'm having trouble - maybe some other's are too? Or am I the only person using 2 and 3 bottom plows anymore?
