The JD oil refinery is just across the road from the JD magic paint factory.
Anybody that uses a paint that instantly adds $8,000 value to their machines above and beyond the competition, has to make a super oil. Just ask them, they'll tell you all about it down at the dealership.
Remember, if you own a John Deere tractor, to always, always, always, only use ONLY John Deere motor oil. They have it on the shelf at the dealership specifically marked for your model.
An example is:
John Deere 'B' Motor Oil (all years inclusive), for use in B models only.
Or:
John Deere 70 Special Motor Oil, for use only in model 70 tractors. DO NOT USE in models 40, 50, or 60! The increase in horsepower by using this special oil will damage those engines! Can be used for detuning JD 80 tractors.
Now you know why dealerships have a warehouse just for motor oil. Not only because every model requires a specific type, but because it has to be changed so often. Just ask any internet oil expert, they'll confirm this.
