I fail to understand why you think the woman in this case got off easy. We give judges the discretion to consider pretty much anything when they sentence offenders. I don't know the particulars of this case, but the judge may have considered the individuals' previous criminal records and recidivism. The judge may have considered who planned the crime, what role each offender played in the crime and who profitted the most. Without this information, I'm not going to second-guess the judge.
