Sure. Hold the crank in the flat palm of your hand. Do not grasp the crank by placing your thumb around it. Pull Up on the crank with your thumb UNDER it the same as your fingers. Even safer is to only turn 1/4 turns, UP. Always pull up. Never push down on the crank. Stand back a little so if she kicks the crank will pull itself out of your hand and when it spins it won't hit you. I did mention to have the trans in neutral and clutch locked down (if the B has that feature, WC did) when you do this. That magnificent magneto has an impulse coupling which, when cranking (slow turning) will retard and intensify the spark. That's the "snap" you hear when cranking. Anyway, by retarding the spark, most of the danger of it kicking is removed. Don't ever let anyone talk you into a coil and distributer for that little jewel of a tractor you have.
