I trust myself to clean my biodiesel more than the commercial diesel companies. When I start making my own it will be tested and cleaned of byproduct before it hits the clean storage tank. Look at the tanks the gas stations have for diesel, I am sure they are full of crap and gunk that have built up for years. I can almost bet that the people having issues are not cleaning there Bio and just processing it and putting it in there tanks.
I have found a source for clean and dry WVO for 1.75 a gallon. So with the cost of the other chemicals and equipment my fuel will cost right around 2.45 a gallon. NC allows up to 300 or 400 gallons a year per person in household tax free.
