Yep, I met a girl. No, not "a" girl. THE girl. Never so much as a date in a year and half, then one day I get a farmersonly.com email from a young lady in N. Minnesota. She's 18, I'm 20. She runs a beef cattle and hay farm all on her own since her dad died last November. We spent ALOT of the time on the phone and talking online, and on the 27th of December (little over a month after first contact) I but the bullet and drove 11 hours to meet her. Spent 6 glorious days at each others' side feeding cattle, castrating/dehorning calves, meeting her family and so on. Had an AMAZING time. Most of her family either asked me or hinted at when I was gonna move up there. WAY too early for that. Her and I agreed that she would come down and meet my family before we started talking about moving. I tell ya folks, I've never made so many connections with anyone in my life. Not only do we have tons of simple things in common(it's almost creepy sometimes), but we're even together on the really big issues too. Never felt more guided about anything in my life. I have no idea how or why He did it, but there isn't a trace of doubt that God brought us together and it's up to us now to make it work. I could write a few pages about how incredible she is, but I won't. I just gotta buckle down and be patient for things to work themselves out. I'm not saying we've got it made, but all signs point to yes, and you should see the smile on my face right now, and the best part is, she's just as excited as I am! Thanks for listening!
