If you'll remember about a month ago I was asking advice on a small skid loader to use in feeding sileage in our old stanchion dairy barn.
Well, the day before Thanksgiving my brother tried out (and ended up buying) a lightly used one which I think is nearly identical to the Toro Dingo. It is an Australian (if I remember right) built machine powered by a two cylinder Honda engine, 40" wide bucket, and approx. seven feet overall length.
We have since fabricated/installed a seat and expanded the bucket by raising up the sides and back. We also added 7" to the front of the bucket, tapered in slightly on each side. In so doing we at least trippled the volume of feed it will handle.
My brother is becoming more skilled at operating it each day. It's a pretty sweet little machine. So far, so good.
