I like this story alot and will share it with all. As to the next generation yes we have questions, concerns, fears and doubts.

FWIW I am trying to do my part in some small way to ensure a bright future for our country. I am a Scoutmaster for a small rural troop (12 boys) and Venture Crew Advisor for same area (coed 20 youth).

If you read the Scout Oath and Law you will understand the values me and many others are working to instill in our youth.

Is it easy - heck no! Today there are so many distractions and deviations the kids are not allowed to be kids - they are robbed of their innocence at a very young age. They are bombarded with smut, drugs (dope and over the counter i.e. ritalin) & illegal activities then told it is ok as long as you don't get caught or you can sue if you are caught.

On the upside we have a local paper that illustrates nothing but GOOD NEWS - the stories they publish are postitive and up lifting. The paper is th Home Town Journal published weekly by Dawn and Laurie. This is a great paper and really does show that while many things are bad there are many that good. Both of these gals are doing a great service.

See link below for Scout Article recapping the boys accomplishments and regional praise for the GOOD NEWS NEWSPAPER.
