Hey guys, if you read my message a few weeks back I had gotten engaged rather quickly (meaning 6 days) after meeting a very special lady. As expected I got alot of the usual "good" advise about marriage, doing things too quick, etc and I took it all "under advisement". Well it was 6 days to the engagement and then 9 days to til we took the plunge on Nov 30. Quick again I know but like someone once told me if you don't plan to marry a woman then why bother to get engaged and drag things out.... We did it at the Magistrates office with two witnesses, and had one of the witnesses, a friend, take a few pics. We've been married for 11 days now and it's been great. We've both got smiles from ear to ear and she said her cheeks were starting to hurt from so much smiling... Personally I have no doubts I found a keeper and she says the same about me. We both know it won't always be this perfect, that the honeymoon will eventually end, but we also know that with a little effort and compromise when needed, by both of us, we plan to last the rest of our lives. It's been a great 11 days, I'm looking forward to the next 50 years...if she can put up with me that long, LOL... I'm living with her right now while we remodel my place at which point we're gonna sell her current house and move into our/her newly remodeled place full time. Yes I said "her place"...I told her she can have the house as long as she leaves my shop alone...LOL

Today's Featured Article - The Nuts and Bolts of Fasteners - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and ... [Read Article]
