Its me again, I am the guy who installed a 12 volt generator and new regulator. I did the polarize thing, started the tractor.
Problem--Amp meter doesn't show anything. Needle won't even move when I turn on the switch. This amp meter worked fine with the 6 volt system. Is there something that I have overlooked? Is there such a thing as a 6v and 12v amp meter? I didn't think so, but I am not very smart.
I have used a generator rather than an alternator to keep the tractor as original as possible.
Thanks for any advice. Please don't tell me I am not very smart, I already admitted that.
One more thing, with the tractor running, the volt meter stays around 14v. If I didn't have an amp meter, I would think everything was fine!
