till it bleeds!!! Dad has 2 4020's and a 3020. The first 4020 and the 3020 were both bought new in the 60's. The second 4020 was bought used (with a cab) in the early 70's. Both 4020's are WF, dual hydraulics, w/3pt. All 3 are diesel. The 3020 is a row crop that has picked corn, front mount cultivator, sickle bar mower, sprayer, anhydrous application, planting, etc. The first 4020 has had a loader on it since the second 4020 was purchased. (Before that the loader was tractor was a 3010 that got sold when the 2nd 4020 was purchased). The second 4020 has done tandem disk duty, chisel duty, plowed, pulled a feed wagon thru axle deep mud and snow to feed cattle. Except for burning out the clutch in the loader tractor, NEITHER 4020 has EVER been apart! Just last year after nearly 30 years of service, the 3020 need to have the engine overhauled. Dad farmed 640 acres for nearly 30 years with those tractors (plus a 4440 that I believe was purchased new in the 70's). He farmed 20 years before that with 2 cylinders (60, 520, 530, 730, and a "B"). Had those tractors not been durable and functional, they wouldn't still be farming today. But they ARE! Smoke THAT!!! Gadget.
