I have a 9N that runs about 20Psi on the gauge. I have never checked the accuracy of the gauge, but reading posts from the pro's you should:

1 - Check the gauge - lots of stories about wrong gauges
2 - Consider what weight oil you are running
3 - Replace the relief valve spring - this governs the oil pressure. Lots of posts have indicated that the low oil pressure problems are due to a weak relief spring. Cost of the spring is about $2.
I have one, but am waiting for warm weather to put it in. I believe the relief valve is set somewhere around 40PSI - If this is wrong, someone who knows for sure can post the right pressure.
4 - After that major surgery on the oil pump, bearings or the like.

Hope this helps.
