I restored a JD 943 running gear about a year ago. I have an owners manual and it doesn't not show any pictures of decals on the running gear. $54 sounds high for a manual, I think I paid around $10. When I re-did mine, the only decal I found was the one on the back. Mine is a very early 943, according to the owners manual and the way the front end tie rods are set up, pre 1948.
