This is becoming a real problem here in recent years as the farms have fewer workers and everyone is out in the fields during the daytime. A unmarked van will drive in, if there is no-one around the workshop gets emptied of power tools and generators etc. Its so easy with sliding doors in the side of the van. They steal ATV's and then come back a few weeks later to steal the new replacement bought with the insurance payout! The other trick is having 45 gallon steel drums in the vans, drive up to the diesel tank, cut off the locked fuel nozzle and fill up the drums in a couple of minutes. Worst is when their drums are full they drive off leaving the diesel running out of the pipe all over the yard. The scrap men have hydraulic cranes on their trucks and will pick up implements left on the roadside of fields, lift up and over the hedge and are away in minutes. Farm theft here has become a major problem. David
