You don't say gas or diesel. We have a gas MH50 which isn't much older than what you're describing. For what we wanted it for, gardening, snowplowing and hay making, it's been great. At 32 hp it has enough power to handle a baler yet it still can be moved on a car hauler fairly easily. It has never been a problem starting in cold weather. The size, wide front, three point hitch and live PTO all make it pretty handy, and if for some reason it turns out not to meet your needs you shouldn't have much trouble selling it. Some say that Massey parts are getting harder to find, and that some of the AGCO support is not that great. I haven't had much trouble, but then we haven't needed many parts. I did have to go rebuild the engine and clutch a couple years after we got it, but it had 6600 hours on it at point. The biggest rock I would throw is the occaisional transmission lockup. This is more annoying than anything else, but it is described on the Massey board several places. They seem to do that now and then. We've had ours for 17 years now and I'd do it again.
