Roundup will kill your grass as well as the clover. If you do use roundup I have read that the best time on Ivy is when it is starting to flower. 2,4-D is some what effective and may not kill all the clover. You could add some Banvel (dicamba) to the 2,4-D and it might be more effective. If the clover is killed you could do a frost seeding next year (late winter, very early spring) and get the clover back. Phil
