They are in fact good tractors David. The downside comes to play when they need repair. I just finished helping a neighbor overhaul his. The parts are very expensive. The one we worked on is several years old. We cound not get sets of anything. You bought rings by the piston...not a complete set. The rod and main berings were the same way...each, not by the set. The parts were so costly he nearly gave up on it several times...but we have it finished now. It still has a weak starter on it...but they wanted over 600 dollars for a new one. If its hard to start cold...he just has someone pull him. Its cheaper that way. Just hope he never kills it in the winter in the field spreading cow flop.
