Replace the voltage regulator.... or if you wish, just install a Delco 10si alternator on there and be done of it. You can buy the alternator for little more than the cost of the regulator.... I doubt the alternator is cooked, but if it is, it's probably handy 400 bucks, plus the REG that IS cooked which was 50+ the last time I bought one years ago. The Reman Delco's can be had for less than a hundred, without a core, from NAPA. Slight modifications to the lower and upper brackets, wire the idiot light, and you're in business. Rod
