HI, The way I look at it is what is the tractor going to be used for? If you are going to put several hundred hours on it thats one thing. If you are going to haul it around on a trailer and park it at a tractor show thats another thing. I had a guy try to sell me a tractor that he had $11,000 in, he showed me the reciepts. Top dollar for the tractor would be $2500 to $5500. It needed paint and tires badly. I guess the bottom line is, do what will make you happy. If you sell it and lose $5000 and you are still happy, go for it.
