This same engine was also available as a power unit as the International P-40. The horsepower rating of the power unit was 53.5 hp on distillate or 59.5 hp on gasoline. I also noticed that on the T-40 TracTracTor the rated belt horsepower of 45.94 has a note (85% of maximum)(gasoline opteration), so the maximum belt horsepower on gasoline was about 55. The engine has a 3 3/4 bore by 4 1/2 stroke giving 298.2 cubic inches. The weight of the P-40 was 2040 lbs including welded steel base. There was also a PA-40 which was the same engine but it had a 3 5/8 bore rather than the 3 3/4 bore which gave the PA-40 278.6 cubic inches. (The W-40 and T-40 both had the 298.2 cubic inch version).
