OLD unless that choke is hooked up to the advance it is physically imposable. I have been a mechanic for over 40 years and believe me I know what I am talking about. Walt If anyone doesn't believe then I suggest they go out start their tractor warm it up then pull out the choke to half choke position an see what happens.
