I get tractors hauled almost weekly . I've got a truck loading in W. Mi. right now . I hope to have one load in E. Mi. tomorrow . I got a one in from E. Ny. last week . I have gotten them in from as far as Cal. If its over 350 miles I can usually hire it done for less than the fuel would cost for a round trip . The hauling schedule here is the best place to start . just state your not in a big hurry you looking for someone filling out a load . I have waited for 4 months to get 1 hauled . In some ways high fuel has lowered hauling prices . Most haulers make a lot more effort to put 2 or 3 things together before going . My experience has been 4 years ago if I placed a ad wanting a tractor hauled 700 miles I would get replies wanting 1.25 to 1.65 a mile . Now the same ad will get if you can wait a couple weeks to a month I'll put it together & do it for 500.00 to 600.00
