Hi Gang; This is the Mark 1 version of the MF 65, launched in the late 1950's to compete in the HP race against Fordson Major, IH 450, David Brown 990, & Nuffield 460 tractors. MF had the lion's share of the 35HP market in England at that time with their MF35. 52HP gross 4 cyl Perkins diesel, 3F & 1R with hi & lo, and Multi-Power gearbox option. Proved to be a successful & reliable tractor. Styling based on the US MF50 & Ferguson 40 tinwork. Cheers David
