Hours impact on a engine have alot of variables,type of engine,work performed,filter changes,worked in sand.If the hour meter is broke or you dont believe the hours look at the drawbar is the hole eggshaped if it is and the owner or seller is claiming low hours be carefull,another thing to check is the tractors levers I have seen tractors wore so bad that the shifter hits the dash when you try to shift.Also watch out if they tell you the injection pump is turned up or speeded up the engine both of these tricks will cut down on the life of the engine.
