Posted by Ed Leaman on March 23, 2007 at 03:59:21 from (68.82.208.159):

Just wanted to take a bit of a poll here. We have had a lot of requests over the years and have lately developed a need on our own for the cast Iron FRONT wheel center for the V series of tractors such as MV, SMV 400 and 450 as well as the HV and SHV, 300 and 350.

However production costs are high, unless we do more than 20 of these and even then they will not be cheap. Estimates are in the cost area of $440 and we may need to retail up near $500 per SIDE. We can hold the prices if we can place an order for about 20 of these. Do any of you have any input or need for such a wheel. The quality will be good and the appearance will be better than the originals. These people do great work and they are in the USA!!!

Is there anyone else out there with plans to build any or even already a source for these at this point??? I don't want to double up on anyone. In fact I would much prefer some place to buy these.

I have been told the rims are available for a while but then I was also told that they were dropped from production. They are also becoming a very hard to find item. I am looking for some direction here as well.
Thanks For any input.
Ed
PS you are welcome to contact me off line if you wish. I don't want to break any rules here but this is a good place to address a shortage such as this!!

Thanks
