My 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd pickup started to buck a little today when I was driving it. It snowed here today in PA and I had to use 4x4 to get out of the driveway. After I got out I put it back in 2wd and maybe a mile down the road the truck started to shake a bit. The 4wd bar vibrates alot when this is happening. When it shifts out of that gear, everything is normal again. The "CHECK ENGINE" light is on and sometimes blinks. I check the tranny fluid and added some too. What might be the problem? By the way, a week ago I was pulling an empty trailer for 3 hours on the interstate and the O/D light came on. According to the manual, that is when the tranny heats up more than normal.
