My uncle has two of those 960's, they use a chrysler 225 slant six engine. They can be fitted with a case 2 row corn head, but there is no 4 row available, the 2 row fit all the case combines from the 600-960 if i remember right. Not sure where you will find one this one is not for sale and i am half way across the country from you. They are fairly simple machines, but in my opinion not built as well as a john deere 95 of the same time period. They have about the same capacity as a john deere 55 but were suppose to keep up with a 95 depends who you are talking too. Good luck whatever you decide, might want to go to the combine forum they know more than i do.
