I have two Ford 3000 gas tractors with 8 speed trans. and live PTO. One has a 6 foot Allied two stage blower on it and the other has a 6 foot Loftness. Both tractors do NOT have loaded tires but have a set of pie weights on them and double ring tire chains. Both tractors also have a ford snow plow on the front as well as front wheel weights. When the snow is deeper than a foot the first pass can require a lot of clutch work but then you can take partial cuts. The blowers make the engines work but do a good job. Neither blower would work on my 860 as the reverse is too fast. I am using an old V style Erskine pullbehind blower on the 860 and it works well. I also use a new style Erskine on a MM and it works great.
