I posted the other day about an injection pump problem the fuel shop attributed to the new ULSD fuel and their recommendations to use an additive in the fuel. On their advice dad and I both started running the Stanadyne additive and put it in both our trucks on Friday. I did a little bit of around town driving yesterday and my truck didn't seem as sluggish off the line as it has for the past year or so. It weights in around 30,000 lbs so I tend to notice the power or lack thereof. Getting on the interstate this morning I really noticed it seemed to have more of it's "old" power back. On the ramp I use it drops downhill and then heads up a long hill as you get on the interstate. I haven't been able to get over 55 on the uphill climb in awhile but this morning I climbed it at 60 and never missed a beat. Not to mention stopping in traffic it also seemed to be idleing smoother than it has in a while. So, at the risk of being accused of selling out to Stanadyne I won't recommend their additive but I'll say this. Their additive has proven itself to me, suprisingly in a very short time, and I'm simply passing on the info. I really don't care what kind you use or if you use any at all but lack of use is eventually gonna be profitable to a fuel shop somewhere.

Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
