Howdy Gary,

I've been doing okay, but decided to stay in Abilene this weekend, she tells me she's coming here next weekend. With the weather warming up I'll need to start going to the farm (estate) on weekends also in the next month or so. Plus I'm an alternate for a trip accross the pond coming up. LOL, the boss told me he really wasn't wanting to send anyone that had just came off a remote if he didn't have to.

Sounds like you still have your hands full. I hope all goes well and your grandson is not too much of a hand full for you. You might remember her, Wan with the shop where Sam's Mobile Home Park is/was. She's been there in business since 92 and doesn't look like she'll be closing shop anytime soon. Like a friend of the family once told me "if you provide a good service or product that people need or want and are fair then you will always have business...might not get rich but will always have business." I guess it's working for him becuase he's been in business for as long as I've known him (early 70s)and still going strong. Wan's always done people fair and works with both military and civilian clothing. She does more civilian clothes than uniforms and has a fairly good local populace clientel. Hope your wife is able to do as good as mine has. Take care and I'll try to get in touch with you next time I'm passing through.

Jim

Today's Featured Article - The Day Mom Drove the 8N - by Brian Browning. My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
