worked for 5 gm dealers in 32 years,as mechanic,parts manager, service manager.retired two years now,i could never under stand why any one would pay 4 or 5 thousand more to have a truck that has more service and harder to work on,when thay could have a big block with a four speed to move some thing (which i have).sorry a diesel in a 3/4 or 1 ton truck does not make it a OTR truck like a peterbilt or freightliner. chevy is a dan good truck good for the long haul(distance),and value.i would not treat my tractors like most treat there trucks. sorry to step in on your tread,this was just my thoughts joe
